These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Cerebot mobile application (the "App") operated by Cerebot ("we," "our," or "us"). By accessing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using the App, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms, as well as our Privacy Policy.

2. Account Registration

2.1 Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

2.2 Account Security

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

3. Subscription Terms

3.1 Subscription Plans

Cerebot offers premium subscriptions with the following options:

• Monthly Subscription: $2.99/month (iOS and Android)
• 6-Month Subscription: $14.99/6 months (Web only)
• Annual Subscription: $26.99/year (Web only)

Pricing may vary by platform and region due to local taxes and currency conversion.

3.2 Auto-Renewal

• iOS: Subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID account. Payment is charged at confirmation of purchase and upon renewal.
• Android: Subscriptions are billed through your Google Play account. Payment is charged at confirmation of purchase and upon renewal.
• Web: Subscriptions are billed through Stripe. Payment is charged at confirmation of purchase and upon renewal.

3.3 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation instructions:

• iOS: Open Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions → Select Cerebot → Cancel Subscription
• Android: Open Google Play Store → Menu → Subscriptions → Select Cerebot → Cancel Subscription
• Web: Access your subscription settings in the Cerebot app or through the Stripe customer portal

Important: Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will retain access to premium features until that date. No refunds are provided for partial subscription periods.

4. Premium Features

Premium subscriptions include:

• Ad-Free Experience: Remove all advertisements from the App
• Personalized Roster Import: Import your Marvel Strike Force roster from msf.gg
• War Defence Suggestions: AI-powered suggestions for optimal war defence team placement
• HUD Overlay Mode: Floating overlay for quick counter lookups while playing (Android only)
• Priority Support: Faster response times for customer support inquiries

5. Refund Policy

5.1 General Policy

All subscription fees are non-refundable except as required by applicable law or as explicitly stated in these Terms.

5.2 Platform-Specific Refund Policies

• iOS: Refunds are handled by Apple. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com.
• Android: Refunds are handled by Google. To request a refund, visit support.google.com/googleplay.
• Web: Refunds are handled by Stripe. Contact us at support@cerebot.app within 14 days of purchase to request a refund.

6. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree NOT to:

• Use the App in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations
• Impersonate any person or entity, or falsely represent your affiliation with any person or entity
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App, other users' accounts, or our systems
• Use automated scripts, bots, or other automated means to access the App
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the App
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users

7. Content and Intellectual Property

7.1 Our Content

All content in the App, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, data, and software, is the property of Cerebot or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

7.2 Marvel Strike Force Content

Cerebot is an unofficial companion app for Marvel Strike Force. All Marvel Strike Force character names, images, and game data are the property of Scopely, Inc. and Marvel Entertainment, LLC. We do not claim ownership of any Marvel Strike Force intellectual property.

8. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

8.1 Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

8.2 Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CEREBOT SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP.

9. Changes to the App and Terms

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the App (or any part thereof) at any time, with or without notice. We may update these Terms from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated via in-app notification or email.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms, suspected fraudulent activity, or other reasons at our sole discretion. Upon termination, you will lose access to your account and any associated data.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States and the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
